Powering Greater Participation In Cross-Border Commerce
We’ve further strengthened our time-definite international delivery service. Businesses now have more choice and flexibility when trading in Asia and beyond.
Greater demand means increased competition for SMEs, who have the unique task of finding better, more reliable ways to fulfil the demand of overseas buyers.
Delivery is an instrumental piece of the puzzle, now more than ever. Faced with uncertainties and disruptions caused by the pandemic, businesses now prefer advanced delivery options that offer guaranteed time-definite, flexible door-to-door services to mitigate any risks.
Introducing FedEx International Priority® Express
To support businesses’ evolving requirements, we’ve just announced the launch of FedEx International Priority® Express (IPE) -- an enhanced international priority shipping solution with delivery windows early in the day for time-sensitive international shipments. With IPE, businesses in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) will have more choice and flexibility when shipping critical time-sensitive shipments across the globe*. That means giving their business associates additional control about when and how a package will arrive.
FedEx customers in AMEA will now have three time-definite delivery options to choose from for enhanced speed, convenience, and flexibility. These services come with the reliability of FedEx customs clearance expertise, shipment tracking, and robust global operations.
- FedEx International Priority® Express (IPE), a new service, provides customers across AMEA with delivery by 10:30 or noon to select markets* in Asia, the United States, Canada and Europe.
- FedEx International First® (IF) continues to offer customers the option for early morning delivery to select postal codes and destinations* in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
- AMEA customers can also choose FedEx International Priority® (IP) for end-of-day delivery to more than 220 countries and territories around the globe.
The global economy is projected to grow by 4% in 2022 despite the ongoing pandemic. Much of this will be driven by renewed economic activities and cross-border commerce.
“As economies begin to recover from the pandemic, businesses are placing heightened value on trackable, time - definite delivery”, shares Kawal Preet, FedEx Express President of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.” As this trend develops, this segment is set to grow.
The launch of IPE comes at this critical moment to give businesses of all sizes greater control and more choices that match their needs, with a FedEx assurance of flexible, reliable and hassle-free experience.
