How We Unlock Greater Participation In Cross-Border Commerce

By FedEx | January 13, 2022

We’ve further strengthened our time-definite international delivery service. Businesses now have more choice and flexibility when trading in Asia and beyond.

Small businesses everywhere are finding themselves riding the crest of a new normal. If you’re an SME or entrepreneur, you’ll likely have witnessed rapid acceleration of cross-border commerce. The challenge? Keeping up with the high standards expected from many of today’s business decision-makers.

Greater demand means increased competition for SMEs, who have the unique task of finding better, more reliable ways to fulfil the demand of overseas buyers.

Delivery is an instrumental piece of the puzzle, now more than ever. Faced with uncertainties and disruptions caused by the pandemic, businesses now prefer advanced delivery options that offer guaranteed time-definite, flexible door-to-door services to mitigate any risks.

Introducing FedEx International Priority® Express

To support businesses’ evolving requirements, we’ve just announced the launch of FedEx International Priority® Express (IPE) -- an enhanced international priority shipping solution with delivery windows early in the day for time-sensitive international shipments. With IPE, businesses in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) will have more choice and flexibility when shipping critical time-sensitive shipments across the globe*. That means giving their business associates additional control about when and how a package will arrive.

- FedEx International First® (IF) continues to offer customers the option for early morning delivery to select postal codes and destinations* in the United States, Canada, and Europe.

- AMEA customers can also choose FedEx International Priority® (IP) for end-of-day delivery to more than 220 countries and territories around the globe.

Time-definite, always

The global economy is projected to grow by 4% in 2022 despite the ongoing pandemic. Much of this will be driven by renewed economic activities and cross-border commerce.
