The world is transforming how goods are moved, with a shift to smart cities and greener transport networks. At FedEx, we’ve collaborated with non-profits on global projects that explore sustainable transport for both packages and people.

  • Sustainable cities and the infrastructure that supports them are pressing topics for societies across the globe.
  • Finding ways to transport people and goods using lower emissions and moving to a carbon neutral future is a shared responsibility.
  • Discover how FedEx is working with social enterprises around the world to explore zero emissions transport networks and promote more sustainable lifestyles.

Our goal? To help design cities that support a more sustainable future.

There’s one address we all share: Planet Earth. Making a positive impact the future of our ecosystems and protecting the health of our global communities is a collective effort. That’s why we’re putting decades of expertise in logistics and transportation to good use, partnering with communities and organizations to improve local transport networks.

In collaboration with non-profits operating in the communities we serve, we’re creating safe, sustainable transport solutions for over 50 cities. So far, we’ve reached over 10 million people across six countries – and that’s just the start. From electric vehicles to zero-emissions, check out the work we’re doing across Europe, the Americas and Asia in support of a cleaner world.
Our goal? To help design cities that support a more sustainable future.

Our projects to drive more sustainable logistics worldwide are helping to solve real-world urban mobility issues. In Europe, we’re funding the Sustainable Cities Mobility Challenge to support a transition to cleaner, greener and more people-centric transport.
In the UK, we’re testing e-tractors: electric linehaul trucks to help make heavy vehicles more sustainable for long-haul domestic road deliveries.
And it’s not just big cities that need innovative mobility solutions. As part of our FedEx Cares program to help communities in need, we donate bicycles to children who need daily transportation to school in rural communities in Africa.
